Happy Anniversary

Troy and I are celebrating our 8th Anniversary.
It is hard to believe that 8 years have gone by already!
We got married on July 28, 2000. Troy was 24 years old and Christy was almost 22.
We were both still students at SPU. We sure have grown up alot since then!
Our relationship is strong. We were friends since we were in High School and that friendship grew into love during our college years. Our friendship is what makes our marriage so special. We have been on so many adventures and we have been so blessed!
Troy, I love you with all of my heart! Thank you for being my prince charming! I am excited to see what the future holds for us.

The Wheels on the Bike Go Round and Round...

Kyle has been practicing riding his bike and scooter. He is so proud of himself when he rides them! We FINALLY got him to keep his helmet on after MONTHS of battle. (We won this one)!
He thinks he is pretty cool with his sunglasses and red duck helmet.





Daddy likes to help Kyle ride his bike.



He can actually make the scooter go all by himself. It is pretty impressive for such a little guy!

But...he likes it when Daddy pushes him fast down the street!

Last summer Kyle HATED wearing his lifejacket!

This summer he LOVES it!
Yeah! We are making progress!

Swimming Class

Kyle just finished his fourth session of Tiny Tots Swimming Class. We have been taking him to the Forest Park Pool in Everett since he was 6 months old. He LOVES the water. We really feel strongly that it is important for Kyle to learn how to swim at an early age. Both sets of grandparents own boats and we enjoy being on the water so we are thankful that Kyle enjoys his time in the pool.

Strawberry Pickin'

Today we went to Biringer Farm in Marysville to pick strawberries. I think Kyle at more dirt than strawberries. We had a great time! What a fun way to begin a summer morning!

Family Vacation

Last week we took a family vacation to Lake Chelan. It was wonderful! The sun was just what we needed! We enjoyed spending time at the beach! Kyle learned how to golf at the Chelan Putt-Putt course. He LOVED it and did all 18 holes! We spent a day at the waterslides. Kyle did great! It was a fun and relaxing week and a great start to our summer!
