Happy Father's Day

Troy is such a great Daddy! We had a wonderful Father's Day in Bellingham. We went to church, played Bocce Ball and Croquet, and had a family BBQ. It was a fun day! Kyle wore a shirt that says "Dad Is My Hero!"

The "Co-Pilot"

For Troy's birthday (in April) I arranged to have our friend, Joe, fly us to Orcas Island. Who would have guessed that the Saturday we picked in April would be a SNOW DAY! So...we had to reschedule our trip for June 8th.

We went yesterday. It was great! We had a wonderful time. The scenery was BEAUTIFUL! We met at Harvey Field in Snohomish. Our flight our was about 45 minutes up to Orcas Island. We landed and walked around the island. We enjoyed lunch at Vern's Bayside Grill, shopped at the local island stores, had ice cream then headed back to the airport. Our flight home was amazing. It was sunny and clear and beautiful. What an amazing landscape Washington has! Troy and I both grew up boating in the San Juan Islands...but it is a whole new beauty when you see them from the sky!
